NVRE Toddler Program for Two Years Old Kids

Our curriculum is designed to guide and develop the social, emotional, self-control, physical and neurological skills needed for future success. Although many academic concepts are introduced, the focus remains on each child’s development and how he/she fits into his or her environment.

Reggio Emilia Preschool Nido 2 Toddler Program

The first two to three years of a child’s life are crucial for their overall development. During this period, their minds are full of curiosity, eager to explore and understand the world around them. At NVRE, our Nido 2 Toddler Program is designed to harness this curiosity, providing a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow every day.

Our curriculum encourages toddlers to navigate and discover new activities with the guidance of our experienced staff. At NVRE, we believe in offering a holistic learning experience that integrates cognitive, social, academic, and mental development. Our approach includes learning through nature, art, and meaningful conversations, ensuring that children receive a well-rounded education that lays the foundation for a successful future.

Language Development

Language acquisition is one of the first milestones for children in our bilingual preschool. Many toddlers enter the program with a limited vocabulary, but by the end, they can understand and speak a wide range of words, ask simple questions, and even sing rhymes. Our Spanish immersion daycare in Austin helps children learn both their native language and Spanish simultaneously, enhancing their communication skills and cultural awareness.

Motor Skills Development

Physical development is another key focus of our Nido 2 Toddler Program. Children learn to balance themselves during activities without needing support, run, and jump over small obstacles, and navigate stairs confidently. Activities like kicking a ball are also part of their motor skills training, which is essential for their overall physical growth.

Fostering Independence

We guide children towards independence through a step-by-step process. They learn to dress themselves, button shirts, polish shoes, and perform other self-care tasks. Gradually, they become more self-sufficient, mastering skills like using the washroom and washing their hands.

Social Engagement

Social skills are vital for a child’s development. At NVRE, children learn to care for themselves and others. They are taught to share, trust, and cooperate, fostering feelings of empathy and sympathy. Instilling these values early on helps build a strong foundation for humanity and social responsibility.

Our Reggio Emilia Preschool prides itself on creating a calm and student-centric environment where children can thrive. The practical life skills they acquire here are essential for their future success.

Academic Foundations

In addition to life skills, our Nido 2 Toddler Program introduces children to the basics of academics. With a strong focus on mental and social development, we incorporate cultural studies, including geography, music, art, science, and history. These subjects are presented in an engaging and age-appropriate manner, ensuring that children develop a love for learning early on.
