A Reggio Emilia Inspired Program
At NVRE, our Nido Nursery follows the Reggio Emilia approach, an innovative and inspiring method of early childhood education. We see each child as strong, capable, and resilient—full of wonder and knowledge. Every child brings deep curiosity and potential, which drives their innate desire to understand the world around them and their place within it.
The Reggio Emilia approach emphasizes nature, conservation, and art. At NVRE, we are fully inspired by this philosophy, which deepens learning by immersing our students in a topic of study. Our classrooms come to life with vibrant colors, art, inviting smells, and tactile tools that correspond with the subject matter, making the classroom itself a “third teacher.”
During their learning experiences, our students document their understanding through artwork, verbal explanations, or photos. By creatively sharing their thought processes, students build upon each discovery, which helps teachers track their progress and understanding.
At NVRE, we continuously explore what, where, and how children should learn to thrive in a dynamic world. Our teachers are committed to preparing students for the future by nurturing expert thinking, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. They foster intercultural understanding, environmental stewardship, and global citizenship, driven by a passion to explore and learn more.
As a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool, we deeply believe in the heart of this approach. We embrace this philosophy because it fosters autonomy, social-personal skills, and creativity in our students. Building on these foundational skills paves the way for lifelong learning and future success.
